Cameron Esposito: Hi, I'm lesbian female
standup comedienne and woman,
Cameron Esposito: Lately from the
ballot box to my box,
Cameron Esposito: women have been
cropping up all over the place.
Cameron Esposito: Why, we're even ghost busting.
But is it okay for women to bust ghosts?
Cameron Esposito: And, will staring directly
at the new Ghostbusters movie
ruin your childhood?
Cameron Esposito: And hey, what kind
of super privileged childhood
did you have
Cameron Esposito: where a reboot of
an 80s movie could ruin it?
Cameron Esposito: Like seriously,
what kind of a childhood
did you have?
Cameron Esposito: Yeah, we've heard
a lot of opinions about this new
Cameron Esposito: but we have yet to
hear from a population it may
effect the most.
Cameron Esposito: That's right.
Cameron Esposito: That is... until now.
Cameron Esposito: So Amelia Earhart,
what would it mean for you to be
busted by a woman?
Uh, I don't know.
I've spent my entire life paving the
way for women.
Perhaps I could be
relaxed enough to look for my plane.
Has anyone seen it?
I can't find it anywhere.
Usually when I lose my
goggles they're either on top my
head or on my coffee table,
and my plane's
not in either of those places.
Cameron Esposito: CAMERON: Annie Oakley,
Cameron Esposito: what would a female
Ghostbuster mean to you?
I mean, it'd mean the world.
I mean look, ghosts are real.
You know, everybody knows that,
but a male Ghostbuster,
that's a pretty crazy concept.
So if we're able to accept
that fact, then we have to be
able to accept that
a female Ghostbuster can
be a rootin' tootin'
quick draw on
a proton pack too.
Toot, toot, toot, toot!
Uh... Toot, toot toot.
Cameron Esposito: Harriet Tubman,
first of all, congratulations on the 20.
That was a big accomplishment for me.
-It is a huge accomplishment.
I would prefer the $100 dollar bill,
but white folks is white folks.
Cameron Esposito: So what would it mean
for you Harriet to be busted by
a female Ghostbuster?
Man, woman, it don't
make no never mind to me.
They all try to shove
you in that little tiny box.
I spent my whole
life fighting for freedom,
and now you think in
my after life you're going to put
me in a box?
I'm not getting in no damn box!
Cameron Esposito: CAMERON: Well Cleopatra,
what about you?
Well, we are in the pure
middle of a new dawn of feminism.
If anyone thinks a
woman shouldn't bust a ghost,
well they're in de'Nile.
I sure sphinx so.
Ah hell, anything a man can do,
a woman can do better.
-shoot a load of cum.
-Oh, some women can do that.
-Yeah, we'll talk later.
I've got pictures.
Out of their mouths?
Isn't it terrible we even
have to ask these questions,
to defend the mere
idea of a female Ghostbuster?
-Right! Or a female pilot.
-Or a female comedienne.
-You know my stuff?
-Uh, big fan.
Cameron Esposito: Thank you.
Anybody got any tea?
Cameron Esposito: Can we get some tea?
Whoo-hoo, go women!
Cameron Esposito: How's the tea?
Cameron Esposito: Well there you have it.
Cameron Esposito: Female ghosts are really
excited about female Ghostbusters.
Cameron Esposito: It's almost like the rest of us
should just give the movie a chance.
Cameron Esposito: I'm Cameron Esposito.
I have no vested interest in this film,
Cameron Esposito: or it's success.
Thank you for watching.
