Canadian. Film Student. Afraid of heights.

When I was a kid, I was always performing and trying to make people laugh. It’s a trait I’ve (rather annoyingly) taken into adulthood. Watching The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, at age nine, was pretty much the first time I was ever even fully aware that there are people on the planet making a living as filmmakers. I don’t know if that makes me a stunned kid or something but it was a total revelation to me at the time. And somewhere between Lurtz (the leader of Saruman’s Urak-hai army) firing his second and third arrows into the bloody, defeated body of Gondor’s golden child, Boromir, I had decided that “this” was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
