Summer is just around the corner and that means nachos!

Summer is just around the corner and that means nachos! But what if you love nachos but only like, or can only find, tortilla chips and cheese? Here are 19 delicious recipes that only require those two ingredients!

Classic Nachos

Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees. In a medium oven pan, apply a thin layer of your favorite store-bought crispy tortilla chips. Grate one cup of cheddar cheese. Sprinkle the cheese on top of your chips. Put the pan into the oven for 7-9 minutes.

Old-Fashioned Nachos

Place tortilla chips into a pan. Put the desired amount of cheese on top of the chips and put the pan into the oven. When the cheese is melted, your nachos are ready.

Regular Nachos

You’re gonna want to gather your ingredients first.

What you’ll need: Tortilla chips, cheese, an oven pan.

Step 1: Put the cheese on your tortilla chips.

Step 2: Put them in the oven.

Step 3: Enjoy!

Nachos with Cheese on the Side

Grate some cheese and put it on a plate. Warm your tortilla chips in the oven. Let them cool. When ready, alternate eating handfuls of chips and cheese separately.

Basic Nachos

Line your tortilla chips across the bottom of a small oven pan. Make your cheese tiny with a grater. Watch Dances with wolves and cry a lot, even though you’ve already seen it thirteen times this month and you’re aware that the white savior device is problematic. It probably should have lost Best Picture to Goodfellas. But the performances are still incredibly affecting. Melt the cheese onto the chips and then eat them.

Rainy Day Nachos

It’s raining outside. Take some tortilla chips and put some cheese on them and put them in the oven.

Halloween Nachos

For a spooooooky time, grate some scarrrry cheddar cheese and put it in a bowl. Sprinkle the cheese on top of some TERRIFYING tortilla chips. Then devour them! But there’s a twist…The taste buds are coming from inside your mouth! Ooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Fun Time Nachos

Set your oven to 425 degrees. Prepare your above average-sized oven pan with tortilla chips. Get in a fight with your son. Tell him that his music is too goddamn loud and that it’s not like the music you listened to growing up. Bring up his stupid friends. Get louder than you meant to and use language you wish you hadn’t. Yell at him to come back as he slams the front door. Sit on your couch with your head in your hands. Realize that you’re upset about a lot of other stuff going on and took it out on him unfairly. Cry alone, which is the only way you cry because you can’t bare to show emotion in front of anyone else. Open the oven. The nachos are burned. Eat them anyway because you deserve them.

Standard Nachos

Place your chips. Liberally top them with your favorite cheeses and put them in the oven until the cheese is melted and chips are lightly brown. When they’re ready, transfer the nachos onto a paper plate. Dixie makes a great paper plate. We highly recommend Dixie. I personally get Dixie almost every time I buy paper plates. But, if you’ve had a bad experience with Dixie, another brand of paper plate will probably work. Use this plate to hold your food while you eat it.

Sad Nachos

Use American cheese.

Musical Nachos

Sing an upbeat show tune as you sprinkle cheese onto tortilla chips. Bake your dish in the oven for 3-10 minutes. Eat them while performing a rousing dance number.

Cheesey Nachos

Spread 18 oz restaurant-style tortilla chips onto a pan. Grate half a cup of sharp cheddar cheese and half a cup of pepper jack cheese, or more to taste. On your stove top, cook one pound of authentic chorizo sausage, adding one teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon black pepper. While that cooks, dice scallions, green and red bell peppers, and jalapeno or habanero peppers to add some spice. Layer the chorizo, scallions and peppers onto a prepared baking sheet. Add 15 oz of refried beans, 1 can of pitted black olives (drained and chopped), 1 cup of salsa and 1 cup of sour cream. Using the dull side of a knife, gently scrape the contents of the baking sheet into a garbage can. Cook the tortilla chips and cheese.

Star Wars Nachos

I’m Not Crazy Nachos

Scream “I’m not crazy!” at the top of your lungs while putting cheese on tortilla chips. Bake for 14-9 minutes.

Piano Man Nachos

Ricocklous Nachos

When I was in high school, a friend of mine said “ricockulous” instead of ridiculous because “dick” and “cock” are both words for penis. At the time I thought this was the funniest thing I had ever heard and I told her so. I still think about it sometimes and laugh a little. Anyway, put cheese on chips and cook them.

Classic Nachos (Toad-Style)

Follow the same steps as Classic Nachos, but eat them by absorbing the nachos through your skin the way a toad drinks water.

Backwards Nachos

Take your nachos out of the oven. Bake them at 375 degrees. Place your pan into the oven. Grate your cheese. Line your pan with tortilla chips. Then be born.

Simple Nachos

Melt cheese onto tortilla chips.

I have tried each of these recipes personally and can vouch for all of them. Hopefully one or two of them will work for you! But, if you’re still looking for more variety, just email me at nachoguy86@gmail.com and I’ll send you another recipe for nachos that is just tortilla chips and cheese.
